Hortobágy
The Hortobágyi National Park has been part of the world’s heritage since 1999. Hortobágy is an individual village, found in the middle of the park. The unique flora and fauna of the plain, the special horse-culture of the region and its history attract curious tourists even today. Various events and sights welcome the visitors: Horse days, Bridge market, shepherds meeting, contest, grey bull distress-sale.
